Thursday Night’s Random Dancing at the Meatpacking District NYC

It was a delightful surprise to find out that my DLSU teammate, Synchro team captain, and good friend Ida is in NYC too the same time I am. I was really psyched to have someone to hang out with.

July 12, Thursday, 6:30 pm, Cielo.

They start the party early so people can drink and dance, and have time to rest for work the next day.

See the photo’s caption? Awesome right?!

I loved it! I had this idea in my head that clubbing everywhere in NYC would require the works – getting all dressed up, stilettos, make-up. Never in a million years did I think that I could go partying, in the City, in Chelsea, wearing ballet flats, leggings and a sleeveless shirt. AND not feel under dressed. I felt right at home.

No one cared what you are wearing. No one cared if you can’t dance. No one cared if you dance!

One of the best times of my life!

Awesome music by Tasha Blank, SoulTek and special guests Janelle Kroll + Jourdan Urbach! Hats off to these guys!

We also met The Haiku Guys. You give them a word, they give you a free Haiku! I gave him the word “housewife.” Ida told them “beauty *#@%^” He chose Ida’s word for me. Doesn’t matter. I love my haiku.

I hope I catch another Thursday Night Randommmm Dancing before I leave  the city.

We also danced and hanged out with Gage, one super cool dude

On the way home, Ida took this shot for me. Thanks Ida!
