Ippudo In Garden’s Mall, Kuala Lumpur

I had my first taste of Ippudo’s ramen in the East Village in NYC. I loved it!

27 years of friendship!

I had lunch there last June 2014 with my good friend of 27 years, (Ate) Rissa and Will, her ex boyfriend cause he is now her fiance, woot woot! Congrats guys! They live in the city and they know the best places to eat at.

Ippudo’s Shiromaru Hakata Classic

I ordered the classic ramen just because it was my 1st time to eat there and I like to play it safe.

When Marco arrived in NY after a few weeks, I told him, we must eat in this magical place called Ippudo. And we did.

We ate at the branch in midtown. Marco loved their ramen too!

We were beyond ecstatic when our friend, Sanya, told us that there is an Ippudo branch at the Garden’s Mall here in Kuala Lumpur.

One fine evening, we got a craving for ramen and decided to follow the scent of the perfectly cooked ramen.

Husband likes to copy the color top I wear, AND pretend that I copied him.

Shiromaru Special. Shiromaru with salted soft-boiled egg, pork loin, and seaweed.

My order, Akamaru Chashu. Akamaru with simmered pork belly.

Our delish appetizer, salmon avocado roll.

I heard that they are opening a branch in Manila soon. I can just imagine how long that line will be! Filipinos love good food, and Ippudo has amazingly good food!
