Naked Siomai

I saw a tonnnnn of Henlin stalls when I was in Manila a week ago. Their siomai selection got my mouth watering.

Today was siomai day! Here is my gluten free, egg free and preservative free version:

1/3 kilo ground pork

1 medium onion, minced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 carrot, minced

3 bella mushrooms, minced

3 T sunflower oil

1/2 T pepper

1/2 T salt

Mix everything in a bowl, and using a tablespoon, scoop out siomai balls. Cook in a steamer for 15 minutes. This recipe yields 39 balls.
